This is just my personal opinion. I have serious limitations and even significant flaws in my character. So, my attitude and approach to this matter may not be suitable for everyone. There are many endeavors, such as rapidly expanding investment, marketing, mass production, or those requiring substantial resources, where investors can bring more to the table. Entrepreneurs need them a lot. What I mean to say is that entrepreneurs shouldn’t be completely led by investors. This is how I handle investments. Since I am debt-free and only have myself to feed, I can wander around with just my laptop, slowly working until I’m old or dead. I’m also getting older and can’t be bothered to please anyone anymore, so I just do what I want, at my own pace. If it doesn’t work out, so be it. What else can you do? 😬

I’ve become rather indifferent. After meeting with numerous investors, I eventually got tired of talking. Now, I just work on things at my own pace. If it doesn’t work out, I treat it as a pet project, funding it with my own money and nurturing it slowly, like caring for a seedling. If it still doesn’t pan out, I treat it as digital legacy, quick to abandon and quick to learn from the mistakes.

I've set a rule for myself: no more chasing VCs for my projects. They must demonstrate organic growth. If not, I need to shift my mindset – either nurture them…

People love to watch someone build skyscrapers, only to revel in their collapse; they adore creating idols to worship, then yank them off their pedestals; they treat every word as gospel, only to criticize each statement later. With woke culture and political correctness prevailing, they even dig up things said decades ago for a public shaming, followed by a cancel culture parade. It’s human nature. Why not be like me, crazy from the start with a persona that’s already crumbled, and just madly enjoy a life of delightful wickedness. 🤡

🤓 Yelp, life is full of regrets. That’s why I feel like no matter what choice you make, it seems wrong because you always think another option might have been better. If time could go back, this feeling wouldn’t disappear just because you made a different choice. “The grass is always greener on the other side.”

But I also believe that whatever choice you make is the right one. As rational beings, we always make the best decisions based on the information available at the time.…
